The best juicers may be tucked away in those upscale juice bars just outside your neighborhood, churning out $14 cold-pressed blends that taste as luxurious as they cost. But if dropping thousands on a commercial-grade machine isn’t in your budget—and you’re overpaying for juice by the bottle—you need a personal juicer that delivers pro-level results at home. So what is the best juicer, and how do you find the one that fits your needs?
Ciarra’s product manager reviewed a wide range of market data and discovered that every juicer on the market had some common customer complaints—such as difficulty feeding ingredients, hard-to-clean parts, or frequent clogging. In response, we developed and launched the Ciarra® Slower Juicer in 2025—a juicer that’s easy to feed, simple to clean, and affordably priced compared to other models. If you’re looking to make the best juice at home, it’s absolutely worth the investment.
Best Overall Juicer: Ciarra® Cold Press Juicer
The Ciarra® Cold Press Juicer stands out as the ultimate home juicing solution thanks to its unbeatable combination of power, convenience, and smart design. Here are the most important selling points that make it a top choice:
Top Reasons to Love the Ciarra Cold Press Juicer
1. Effortlessly Handles Tough Ingredients
While many juicers struggle with fibrous veggies like ginger, kale, or carrots—often clogging, stalling, or delivering low yields—the Ciarra Cold Press Juicer powers through with ease.
Thanks to its strong motor and 4.3-inch extra-wide feed chute, you can juice whole chunks of ginger or leafy greens without pre-chopping and still get smooth, nutrient-rich results.

2. Exceptional Juice Yield with Dry Pulp
With a powerful 200W motor and slow 50–75 RPM pressing, it extracts up to 75% juice yield while retaining 40% more nutrients than traditional juicers.
In performance tests, Ciarra extracted nearly 2 pounds (0.9 kg) of apple juice in just 2.5 minutes, outperforming the competition by yielding up to 487g (19 oz) more juice from the same ingredients. The leftover pulp? Incredibly dry—proof of just how efficiently it extracts every drop.
3. Fresh Taste with Every Sip
Using slow masticating cold press technology, Ciarra minimizes oxidation and heat buildup. This gentle method preserves more vitamins, enzymes, and nutrients, resulting in a clean, vibrant taste and ultra-smooth texture, with little to no foam or pulp.
4. Compact, Durable & Kitchen-Friendly
Despite its powerful performance, the juicer features a space-saving vertical design, perfect for small kitchens. Its durable build and tight-fitting components keep it stable during operation, and while the tall chute may not fit under every cabinet, it adds a modern, stylish touch to your countertop.
5. Smart Features for Seamless Juicing
- Anti-Clog Reverse Function: If a blockage happens, simply press the reverse button to clear it and keep juicing.
- Smart Safety Lock: Automatically stops the machine when the lid is opened for added protection.
- Effortless Cleaning in Seconds: Disassembles quickly and rinses clean with minimal effort.

6. Safe & Certified
Made from food-grade materials, fully FDA/LFGB & ROHS compliant—safe for the whole family.

FAQs
1. Are the Ciarra® Juicer Cup and Pulp Chamber BPA-free?
Yes. Both the juice cup and pulp chamber are made from food-grade polycarbonate (PC) material, which is BPA-free under normal use conditions. Since this juicer does not involve high-temperature operations (like boiling or steaming), the potential health risk from BPA is not a concern. The materials have been selected to ensure both durability and safety for everyday cold-press juicing.
2. Does the Rotation Function Only Offer ON/OFF? Are There Speed Settings?
The juicer has three rotation modes:
- Forward rotation for normal juicing
- OFF to stop operation
- Reverse rotation to clear blockages

There are no adjustable speed levels. The juicer uses a single optimized low-speed (50–75 RPM) cold press mechanism for maximum nutrient retention and smooth juice extraction.
3. What Is the Working Noise Level?
The maximum noise level listed is ≤70 dB, which is accurate based on internal tests.
In real-world usage, the operating noise typically measures around 65–67 dB, which is quieter than most traditional blenders and comparable to a normal conversation.
It’s quiet enough for early-morning or late-night use without disturbing others.
4. What Is the Juice Yield for Different Ingredients?
Juice yield varies depending on the ingredient. In tests:
Carrot: ≥ 40%
Apple: ≥ 75%
Celery: ≥ 60%
These are measured as juice weight divided by total fruit/vegetable weight. Yield depends on freshness, size, and water content of ingredients.
5. Is “99% Juice Yield” the Same as “Juice Purity”?
No, they refer to different metrics:
Juice Yield = (Juice weight ÷ Raw ingredient weight) × 100%
Juice Purity = (Filtered juice without foam or pulp ÷ Total juice) × 100%
High juice yield indicates efficient extraction; high purity means smooth, pulp-free juice.
6. Are Components Like the Filter and Auger Easy to Clean? Do They Retain Pulp?
Yes, they are designed for quick disassembly and rinsing.
The auger and filter are smooth and non-stick, which helps prevent pulp buildup.
A cleaning brush is included for easier maintenance of the fine mesh.
7. Are Parts Dishwasher Safe?
No. The juicer’s PC components are not suitable for high temperatures in dishwashers. Hand washing with warm water is recommended to extend product life.
8. Is the Juice Outlet Valve Removable and Drip-Proof?
Yes.
The silicone valve at the juice outlet is removable for easy cleaning.
It is designed to be drip-resistant, helping you avoid countertop messes.
9. Is the Pulp Fully Dehydrated? How Many Filter Layers Are There?
The filtering system includes 1 stainless steel filter with dual mesh sizes.
It effectively separates juice and pulp.
The pulp comes out noticeably dry, indicating excellent extraction efficiency.
10. Are Key Parts Like the Auger and Filter Durable? Do They Wear Out?
Yes.
In internal stress testing with 1000 kg of carrots, the auger showed minor cosmetic wear.
The filter remained structurally intact, though some staining may occur over time.
There is no fixed replacement cycle—parts can last long with proper care.
11. Is There a Non-Slip Base? Is the Machine Stable During Operation?
Yes.
The base features non-slip rubber feet for stability.
During operation, the unit remains firmly in place with minimal vibration, even when processing harder ingredients.
12. Does the Juice Contain a Lot of Foam?
No.
Thanks to the slow juicing method, juice contains very little foam and retains a smooth, clean texture with minimal pulp or bubbles.
13. What Is the Feeding Chute Size? Can Whole Fruits or Vegetables Fit In?
The juicer features a 108mm wide chute, which is large enough for:
Whole apples
Oranges
Medium carrots
Most produce can be added without cutting, saving you time and effort.
14. Is It Suitable for Baby Food, Nut Milk, or Ice Cream?
Baby food: Yes, but only after ingredients are pre-cooked and softened.
Nut milk: Yes, but nuts must be soaked for 6–8 hours beforehand.
Ice cream: Not recommended. This juicer is not designed for frozen or ice-based recipes.
15. Is the Power Cord Length Really 0.9m?
Yes.
The exposed length of the power cord is 90 cm (0.9 meters), which offers flexibility in kitchen placement.
16. Does It Have Overheat and Overload Protection?
Yes.
The juicer includes built-in overheat protection that automatically shuts off the motor if it gets too hot.
Overload protection also prevents motor damage if too much force is applied or if a blockage occurs.
17. Are Spare Parts Available? Which Ones?
Yes.
This includes:
- Juice container
- Pulp container
- Pusher
- Cleaning brush
- Silicone parts (like seals and valves)
Additional spare parts may be available upon request.
