Ingredients:

1.5–2 lbs (700–900g) chicken wings or boneless/skin-on thighs

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon paprika (smoked or sweet)

1/2 teaspoon onion powder

1/2 teaspoon chili powder (optional, for heat)

Optional Glaze (for a sticky finish):

2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup

1 tablespoon soy sauce

1 teaspoon hot sauce (optional)

1 teaspoon apple cider vinegar or lemon juice

Production Methods 

1. Prepare the Chicken:

Pat the wings or thighs dry with paper towels. This helps them get crispier in the air fryer.

Place the chicken in a large bowl.

2. Season:

Drizzle olive oil over the chicken.

Add all the seasonings: salt, pepper, garlic powder, paprika, onion powder, and chili powder.

Toss well to evenly coat each piece.

3. Preheat the Air Fryer:

Preheat your air fryer to 200°C for about 3–5 minutes.

4. Cook:

Place in a single layer in the air fryer basket.

Cook at 200°C for 15-20 minutes, shaking or flipping halfway through.

5. Optional Glaze (Final Step):

While the chicken is cooking, mix glaze ingredients in a small saucepan.

Simmer for 2–3 minutes until slightly thickened.

Brush the glaze on the chicken in the last 2–3 minutes of air frying or toss wings in the sauce before serving.

Tips:

Don’t overcrowd the basket—cook in batches if needed.

For even cooking, flip or shake halfway through.
