FAQs

1. Can I control the heater when I’m away from home?

Yes. Use the Smart Life app to adjust the temperature, preheat your room or switch the heater off remotely. The heater requires a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network, and remote control requires an internet connection.

2. Can I set a weekly heating schedule?

Yes. Create a personalised 7-day heating schedule in the Smart Life app, with heating periods set in 1-hour increments. Select UP/Week mode on the heater or Week mode in the app to run your schedule. Weekly schedules must be set through the app.

3. What temperature can I set?

You can set the temperature from 5°C to 35°C. The thermostat uses the temperature detected by the heater’s sensor to regulate heating; temperatures elsewhere in the room may vary.

4. How does ECO mode work?

In ECO mode, the heater runs at low power for the first 2 minutes, then switches to high power until the set temperature is reached. Use the temperature buttons to select a setting from 5°C to 35°C. When the temperature detected by the sensor reaches or exceeds your setting, heating stops and the sun icon turns off. Heating resumes when the sensed temperature falls below the setting.

5. Can it help reduce unnecessary heating?

Yes. Weekly scheduling lets you plan heating around your routine. When open-window detection mode is enabled, the heater pauses heating if it detects a rapid drop in temperature. It responds to temperature changes rather than directly detecting whether a window is open.

6. How does it distribute warmth?

The X-shaped aluminium heating element warms the surrounding air through natural convection, helping warmth circulate around the room. Heat distribution depends on the room’s layout, insulation and the heater’s position. Keep the air inlet and outlet unobstructed.

7. Does it retain heat after switching off?

The heater gradually cools down after it is switched off. Any residual warmth is temporary, so it should not be relied on to keep the room warm without power.

8. Can I use it in the bathroom?

The heater has an IP24 splash-protection rating. Bathroom wall installation must follow the user manual and local electrical regulations, including permitted installation zones. Its switches and controls must not be reachable from a bath or shower. Do not use it as a portable heater in the immediate surroundings of a bath, shower or swimming pool. Consult a qualified electrician before installation.

9. Can I use it as a freestanding or wall-mounted heater?

Yes. The heater supports wall-mounted installation or freestanding use with its designated support feet. For freestanding use, fit the feet securely and place the heater on a level, stable surface. Follow the user manual for assembly, wall fixing and minimum clearances.

10. What size room is it suitable for?

The 2000W heater is recommended for rooms of approximately 20 m², depending on insulation, ceiling height, room layout and climate. This product is only suitable for well-insulated spaces or occasional use.

11. Is it suitable for bedrooms and home offices?

Yes. Natural convection heating, adjustable temperature settings and weekly scheduling make it a practical option for well-insulated bedrooms and home offices. Keep curtains, bedding and other flammable materials at least 1 metre from the air outlet. Some surfaces can become hot, so take extra care around children and vulnerable people.

12. Does it come with a remote control?

No handheld remote control is included. You can operate the heater using its built-in control panel or the Smart Life app. App control requires Wi-Fi setup, while weekly schedules must be created in the app.
