01. Will it fit above my kitchen island?

The hood measures 482 mm wide and 318 mm deep, with a maximum overall suspended height of 2000 mm. Check hob coverage, ceiling height and mounting requirements before ordering.

02. How far above the hob should it be installed?

The manual specifies 650 mm above an electric hob and 750 mm above a gas hob. Your installer should also follow the hob manufacturer’s requirements and applicable installation rules.

03. Does it need a duct to an outside wall?

No external duct is required for the specified recirculation setup. Filtered air returns to the kitchen, so additional room ventilation may still be needed to manage moisture.

04. Are carbon filters included?

Yes. The manual lists two CBCF003 carbon filters in the box. Additional replacement filters are purchased separately.

05. How often should I replace the carbon filters?

Replace them every 2–4 months, depending on use. They are not washable or reusable. Clean the aluminium grease filter separately as instructed in the manual.

06. Is it quiet enough for an open-plan kitchen?

Fan noise varies with the selected setting. Use a lower speed for light cooking and Boost when more extraction is needed. Boost automatically returns to speed 3 after 10 minutes.

07. Can I adjust the lighting?

Yes. The hood has two LED cooking lights with two brightness levels, helping you choose suitable illumination over the hob.

08. Can I use it without the app?

Yes. The touch controls operate the hood directly. Wi-Fi connection to the Smart Life app provides an additional way to control it.
